about my quilts – The sea is a great inspiration to me. I thoroughly enjoy designing quilts that depict the ocean’s floor, coral reefs and colorful sea creatures. I have incorporated my own hand painted textiles into many of my creations. Some are collaged (raw edge pieces artfully placed on a background fabric to create a design or image). All of my quilts are made with 100% cotton top, backing and batting (the material sandwiched in the middle). Each one is machine pieced and quilted. Fabrics used to create the top and backing are all pre-washed. The quilts are machine washable and fresh air dryable. In addition to being very detailed and beautiful, they are functional. My quilts are designed and created for looks and made for use as bed quilts. If your preference is to have an aesthetically pleasing and dramatic wall hanging, I can convert any that you see here, by attaching a fabric sleeve to the back of the quilt.
